my baby won't start!

Just got refurbing my 87 250r. It started just fine in January and since the only thing I did to it was put in a new water pump.

New gas, spark plug, great compression, clean carb, and plenty of spark and air but she won't even pop, not even with starting fluid. Tested my coil and it's within specs. Could it be my CDI?

is it getting gas? dump a little down the spark plug hole(about a teaspoon, maybe a slight bit more) then try it.

yeah it's getting plenty of gas in the cylinder.

Tried pull starting it? Had to do that to mine after one long winter, never figured out why, only way I got it to run, was fine after that. I think something got corroded but I sure couldn't figure out what was wrong, still remains a mystery.

I'd say check the CDI.........I know they can go bad all of the sudden.
