Need to grind the frame but is it normal for my 2 week old 09 mx's rear shock to feel like it is blown out? when you push the back down it pops back up real fast like a blown shock, it is really springy too?

Check the rebound adjustment?

the 09 mx shock is really fast on the rebound when you just push it down. Its normal, all of them do it. Mine, as well as 6 other can-ams that i have felt do it, and they all work good out on the track.

do you need to grind the frame on the stock x mx? I thought that was just for the PEPs.

It was like that without any adjustments, should I slow down the rebound? My stock shock is hitting the frame on the top in front of and behind the shock.

You can't tell anything by pushing the quad down you have to go ride it. Put all your setting's in the middle and go ride then adjust from there. If your shock is grinding bring it back to dealer and tell them to fix it under warantee don't grind anything.
