Looking to tweak the suspension a bit since locally I ride at a DNR park and it is bumpy and full of ruts. I do a bit of jumping as well.

Some have suggested the G Force rear linkage with the rear spring adjusted. Is this a good starting point? And further is this a easy install myself and does it require any modifications?

Secondly, what about front shocks. I check a bit on Ebay and there are some good reputable sellers I have worked with before and they have iShock, Fox Float (air adjustable) and Elka. Price ranges from the low end Elka FT-E36 for about $425 to the Fox Float at around $600.

I want a good bang for the buck. I don't want to overspend on suspension since I don't race and I don't want to piss the money away on mild improvment.

the fox float would be the best. they're infanitely adjustable, so you can adjust them to how you want them.

agreed, then i would get an elka, then an i shock. i guess that would be my top 3 list. lol, steve

floats if possible. but if they elkas are remote rezzies, get them.
i hav elkas and my buddy has ishocks and he right out said that he would take my elkas over his F8s

Well look at this way how often do you see used floats selling vs the others? lol I want some floats so bad.

So far the Fox Floats have it and that was the one I was leaning towards. Next question is do I keep the same stock A arms? Not sure I would need aftermarket with my riding, but was is the concensus?

alot of ppl love going plus 2 with aftermarket shocks but i personally wont as I like the fact of keeping it narrow in the tight trails

I think a +2 set would be nice since it is not too much wider but will still make a difference. steve
