Well got my clutch parts in and go out to put them on and notice that there is no key for the drive face to meet up to- not a slot where one should be, but what looks like part of one that was sheared off flush to the groove in the crank. It's hard to see in the bad picture, but its at the top of the 90 in the crank. Anybody have any tips on how to get this sucker out? I tried prying on it with a screwdriver, but it isnt budging.

Try using a file in the key area to take off any metal that could be peened over.
What has happened is the key came off/wasn't aligned, and it spun.
Usually it don't ruin the key, but if it was let go for a while it don't surprise me. It had to get hot.
If you have to pry, pry on both sides as to not bend the crankshaft.

Yeah i sure did! It took the rental of a puller, but it came off and with the clutch in good condition its like a totally different bike! Much much better. By the way thanks for all the help on this forum. I had to start from scratch knowledge-wise on this bike, but I just read about every post and your answers and there's a thread for about every situation. Thanks again!
