Does anyone know if you can buy just the HRC exhaust endcap without buyin the whole kit?

its not an endcap its a new spark arrestor.

Does the HRC kit come with the end cap and the insert?

The 04-05 HRC end cap has no insert. It elimitnates the insert.

Yes you can . Just find someone who has bought a HRC kit and all the part numbers are in the manual.

the peice on the far left is what you get in the HRC kit. it replace the stock one in the middle.

So for the 06-07 there is just an insert and no endcap?

You don't have to run the insert with the 06 and newer HRC kit. It's called a difuser, used to make the quad AMA sound limit legal. All of this is explained in the HRC booklet that comes with the kit. Also, it is still a legal spark arrestor without the insert.

On the 04-05 models, when you remove the end cap, you are eliminating the spark arrestor, that's why the 04-05 HRC end cap has the screen.
