alright so i just finished my frame up build on my 86 r i rebuilt motor everything and the carb now if it sits for a few days and i turn the gas on it pours out the overflow hole? it runs fine but when i shut the bike off it leaks again?

float level is set to high.

how do i fix that? maybe is that something i did when i nrenuilt the carb?

Sometimes you can tap on the bowl. But, most likely its your float height. Take the carb apart and put it back together and just try that.

you probably have a small piece of sand or something in the float valve. I have had that several times. take the bowl off and take the valve out and turn the gas on to flush anything out. you might not even see anything come out because even a grain of sand in the wrong place will cause gas to leak out the overflow very fast.
