We just got our hands on a trx125 today. Does anyone know the valve clearance for the Kataco 125"s?

What general gearing are you running for mx?

Is the electric start going to be able to handle the starting duties? What do I need to make it a kick start for back up? Would a crf50 or a Typhoon side case work?

How about a gusset kit?

I know I'm going to have a ton more questions so thanks in advance.

We have a 2007 Hetrick National 125, electric start is great , but does drag the motor more than kick or pull starters. We have been running a 14 tooth front and 49 tooth rear sprocket. It has been a great MX set up at just about all tracks. We had Hetrick gusset the frame. I would strongly suggest having the front frame rails welded shut with reinforced pipe inside as they have been known to break from the impact when landing jumps and the added weight of the shock mounts.

Excellant, Thank You Very Much!! That's the kind of stuff I need to know. The bike we got was built by Hetrick also. I will have that frame done tomorrow in fact. I have to have the silencer bracket welded along with some some other things.:D
