have a 2005 400ex has a fmf powercore4 slip-on, moose filter, lid still on has 6 very small holes in lid,150 main, put a 40 pilot in want to take off choke, how many turns out should i go???

you can lightly seat it then back it out from that until the highest idle you can get. take it for a ride and see how it runs and you can mess with it a bit from there. I am thinking about 2.5 turns should be pretty close for you. good luck, steve

Probably somewhere between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2. Warm up the quad and then adjust it to the highest smooth idle.
