LTZ250 Shaft Stripped???

My sister was just riding around in the yard on a 04 Suzuki LTZ250. She accidentally shifted gears while she had it throttled up from what I understand. She said it made a loud reveving noise and a loud griding clanging noise. And it will not move in any gear now. Any ideas of what needs replaced?

just talked to my dad and he said that the shaft will turn but the quad doesnt move, he said you could press on the shaft and the would growl/grind slightly and acts like it was trying to grab a little. Any ideas?
