MX vs Atv Reflex

Anyone see this yet? Guess its gonna be out for the holidays this year. It looks pretty sweet, tracks look pretty real and the bikes and quads dont look too bad either. Might have to go out and buy this one. http://motocross.transworld.net/2009/07/29/first-impression-mx-vs-atv-reflex/

yes!they got it for psp(i got one!)and i have every mx vs. atv games also,and on the front cover that looks like a ktm quad,i am so gettin that game,whens it coming out?

I think they have to pay extra to get the license to use brand names So they avoid it. :scary:
Not to be a hijacker, but has anyone tried Pure for the ps3? It looks pretty good. They have name brand parts, not quads I think. But hey it's a start....

Never played Pure cuz it just looks way to fake to me i dont like the whole idea of jumping 500 ft in the air doing crazy tricks and what not. I like my games more realistic. Thats why i never bought untamed cuz when i played it i just thought it seemed really fake to me. So far Unleashed has been the best IMO, but im hoping this game can top it. From the way it sounds it should anyways. I dont know if you guys clicked on that link or if you read about it at all but i guess you make your own ruts and everything so if you stay to the inside around the corners pretty soon a rut will build up and it gets deeper everytime you ride through it so i thought that was pretty cool.

pure is pretty goofy. like he said youre in a constant slide and it is very arcade like. but building the quad is pretty fun:)

and reflex looks sweet. they have seperate controls for the rider and bike. may be wierd but i think it'll work:macho

Atv offroad fury(they made pure) used to have honda kawasaki yamaha and suzuki and then mx vs atv unleashedhad some too I thought. But like said before it costs more and its not like it really matters, I just hope the quads feel better than they did on untamed. I hated the quads on untamed but the dirtbikes were awesome. Untmaed is my favorite game ever I wish that they would have had downloadable stuff for it(like tracks and gear and parts, hopefully they do that with reflex). The only thing I think will be g@y on reflex is the "save-yourself" feature. We will see though.

u could nearly mod every part for the quad...

all brand names and u can even get ur platics to look the same as an trx450r,ltr450, banshee etc

ya but that was really the only good part. i just couldnt get into the racing because it was soooo unrealistic:(

They may have licensed bikes in the one vid on youtube i seen there was a reflex poster in the back that had a yami bike with their logo on it but i geuss we can just wait and see

I really hope this game isn't like pure.. I got it thinking it was going to be awesome and it turned out to be total BS...

Pure isn't too bad of a game. The graphix are great, game control and flow was pretty decent too. I didn't like the bike customizing very much, or the lack of 2 player split screen. I need 2 player split screen!

I hope this Mx vs Atv is pretty sweet. Does it got 2 player split screen? :)

I won't buy another MX vs ATV game. The last one had horrible graphics, I almost puked.

Pure had amazing graphics but the game play was too fantasy like.

If they could combine the graphics and quad build up of Pure with the game play of MX vs ATV I would be completely sold.

still needs work IMO. in the freestyle vid before the guy starts riding its a 4 stroke off the rev limiter. then when he's going it sounds like a 2 stroke.

also, the guys hands aren't even on the handlebars in any of the videos. his hands can move right through them. in ATV Offroad Fury 2 for PS2 they had the guy actually push the throttle, let out of the clutch, and grab the front brakes. but they cant do that in a high priority game like this?

and in the free ride video, he can be dead still and just do 0 turn radius donuts without anything coming from the exhaust?

i think that has more to do with the file they uploaded then the actual game sounds. i'm willing to bet a lot of money that wasn't the final cut of the game we were looking at but yes it still does need work. the only thing i like about pure other than building the quad was the short track races.

The game wont be out till December so they still are working on getting everything perfect. If you guys want to voice your opinion about the game go to www.mxvsatv.com and join the forum. They have people that work at Rainbow Studies that look at the forum everyday. So you never know your ideas or requests may come true.

oh yeah im sure those vids weren't final gameplay. i was just saying what i saw that could be improved. hopefully they'll have those little things like that fixed in the final. looks like an awesome game aside from the few little things.

Does anyone know what pro atv racers will be in the game? They already released most of the pro bike racers. Im going to be pissed if they dont put the atv pros in it.
