im pretty sure my fuel filter is clogged didnt get a chance to check yet but i was woundering if i can just take the stock filter out and put a line fuel filter in. and if so what fuel line do i put it on. btw i never saw a quad with more fuel lines than a ltr. :rolleyes:

ya just throw a regular inline filter on it. i have been running an inline for some time now. that swirl filter is like 50 bucks thru suzuki

k. and what gas line do you hook it up to?
the one that goes to the fuel pump right below the plastics?

under neither the seat inside the thing you can shut the fuel off. u take the rubber thing off the out side of it and take the 6 screws out and its right there

yes. just put the petcock back together without the oem filter. then splice in your inline filter.
the inline filters are under $20 bucks and you can buy replacement filters in a 3 pack for $8 bucks.
WAY WAY better then spending $55 bucks on the oem filter and an afternoon tearing down your quad just to replace your filter.
