Hi all, I installed an HMF slip on a few weeks ago and I notice that the quad back fires every so often. Everything is stock including the filter.

Any idea why this would happen? Do I need to re-jet? Would a new filter help this problem? It also feels like the motor is running hotter, but there is no over heating issues.

Is this all in my head?

Thanks for any advice.

Joe

Yes u need to rejet, and turn your fuel/air screw out some. A new filter wouldn't help any. Its running alil hotter because the exhaust u put on leaned out the fuel/air mixture.
