I purchused a pair of smith warp roll off googles, and i tested them out this weekend, but did need to use a strip (didn't have to pull a tear off) and when i got home it looked like to was gone so i went to pull the knob on the rope and it wouldn't move... it was like the sheet of film like froze on or is stuck on... did i put it in wrong????

i need some help here ....

also what things should i do to take care of them so they don't break or get ruined???
thanks

What I did with mine is I put some fishing line behind the film. It helps keep the film from touching the lense. You have to notch the edges of the lense (I used a hack saw) about 1/8 of an inch deep. Cut the line to the length you need and knot both ends. You want the knots to be just a little too short so that the lense will bend forward. Then when you bend the lense back the fishing line will be very tight. I also use one of the visors that over laps the top of the film and keeps water out. I have never had any dirt or water get behind the film with this setup.

Don't was them in the washer. I can wash my oakleys all day long in a laundry bag in the washer and they are fine ,but i washed my smiths one time and the foam fell apart.

If you have the 2003 Warp goggles you will need the film with a WHITE axle in it. If you are trying to use the BLACK axle film it will not work. The BLACK will for for all 2002's and older. I think this is what your problem is.

Does anyone know if the WHITE axle film will work in older (2002) goggles?

Yes, I had had my goggles for over two years before I bought the Roll Offs kit. Anywhere that sells the goggles should be able to get the kit for you.

it didn't come with instruction becuase some one open the package so there were none in there... so i guessed, also i got 10% off just because some one open them, nothing is wrong with them...
