Stock 400ex axle on a 300ex?

can this be done? and how much longer will it make my quad ? like a +2? would i need to use a 400ex rear shock or can i use the 300's?

swing arm but put the 400ex axle in also to make it work

if u use a 400ex bearing carrier u couild use the axle, but u would need ur shock revalveds for the longer swingarm

I don't know if the 400EX rear end will work but I do know that a 350X rear end will bolt right up. The X axle is wider and the swingarm is 2" longer if I remember right.

ok where can i find a 350x axle? how much do they run for and would anyone trade?
