what do you think of the power lids

What do yall think about the k&n power lids?? Is it worth the money? I dont want to run her without the lid so...

Dust, Water alot of reasons ppl dont wanna run without a lid. Powerlid or the other one would be best bet.

Powrlid just seemed so expensive. I just bought an 12x12 outerwear sheet and im going to modify my stock lid to use that. That in conjunction with the KN and outerwear filter should be pretty solid and the sheets are only like $14

I love mine you can see all the stuff the outerwear and the filter stop IMO its a must have. its never taken on water yet and it won't unless its forced in. get the powerlid and outerwear for your cone filter and you never have to worry about water dirt dust sand or anything else. You basically pay for piece of mind.

well, I ride in some of the most dustiest and @ times some of the wettest conditions here in Florida and I run a K&N filter w/ outerwear around it with NO LID!!

Ditch the lid and go with a outerwear on the filter, youll be good.
Not unless you go mud bogging on your 400ex.
Then you should just consider ditching the whole entire quad...

for the two rides ive had it on its been dusty , water, and mud i havnt had any issues yet

yea mine came with a knn powerlid i like it but i wouldnt pay what they want for those things. I would just cut out the top of the stock box and cover it up with a outerwear.

i like mine a ton and it will hold back a ton of water before even letting some drops in. i have soaked it with a hose while washing and there is no water even in the air box. i would recommend them to anyone. steve
