Does anyone know where to buy a carb drill bit set or jet bit set? My local shop D&S cycle has one just measure with a caliper and drill the jet. He drilled one for me to a 178 its a farely big set. I cannot find anyplace or where he got it lol. Anyone know of where to get a decent set at please let me know.

Here's set that comes with a pin vice. It's easy to break the bit if you use a handheld power tool with really tiny bits. For that price those must be some really cheaply made bits though.

However, I'm not sure I see the point in drilling your own jets. Any size you need can be had more easily with a factory jet than getting bits and making your own, I would think [shrug].

Well at $5 a pop it adds up quick and like my EX im actually between jet sizes I had to have one made just to get mine to run right anyway so would be nice to be able to take apart and just drill out and put back together instead of driving 25miles to buy another.

For 15 bucks you could get 3 jets form jetsrus and you should be able to get any size on there cant you. I am not sure and am intrugued about this since you dont hear of this stuff too often anymore with all of the kits available. have you looked into a dj kit since they often have the .5 sizes that ke. doesnt have. steve
