1999 400EX for Sale: $1600obo
I am in the Western NY region.
This was my old GNCC race quad from 2003. Most aftermarket has been sold off, and I had to give my race motor back to my builder at after I stopped racing it, so we swapped out for the motor that is now in this quad. I am told it is a 2002 model and has the 440 kit, but I have never verified that. Quad is in good condition and ready to ride. It's pretty much been just been sitting around for the last 3 years.
Extras:
Gusseted and Powdercoated frame
PRM Air scoops
Full PRM skids (bumper, belly skid, swingarm skid, and grab bar)
Brand New wiring harness
Clarke 5.5 gallon fuel tank
Stainless Steel front brake lines
Maxxis Razr I front tires
OMF Seat Latch
Air Filter Adapter- Run 250R filters
Negatives:
-Rear Razr tires are very worn
-Front rims are a little bent, but still rideable
-Side case was cracked and has been welded. This doesnt seem to be and issue, motor seems to run fine, but running a case saver is no longer an option. There is a photo showing this repaired area.
-Motor is leaking a slight amount of oil in 2 spots. One is by the shift shaft seal (likely easily repaired by replacing the seal) and the other area is by one of the head cover mounting bolts. It's not loose. Not sure of the exact cause of this. I have less than 20 minutes on this motor since what I was told was completely rebuilt and it seems to run very well.
