I know that the 300 is more so a beginner quad and can be race worthy with enough $$$. What age group is the 300 community comprised of, how old are you is what I am asking? I am 25 and still run the 300 but that is a financial thing.

18 but i perfer the 300 over my brothers 400. so i dont think age has as much to do with it as does the type of riding

13 here i, i run the 250x and 300ex because the have lots of potential and they are reletivley cheap, no one want them anymore because of the new quads and the hybrids. So i have 2 pretty well built 250x/300ex that i have probably just under 6500 and they are race ready.

300's are really leinient quads with age. in my youth c class im 14 and i can whip the thing around like its a dirtbike. theres also a kid in my class thats 80 pounds compared to my 140 and he handles and jumps the thing just as well as me. we've battled for first at a few races but i ended up passing him cuz he made a mistake

Im 15 and run in a Air cooled class with my 300ex and a 250x in TT racing but my dad runs the 40+ TT class on a 1987 250x hes 46 lol so trust me age doesn't matter on these

wow,,, 17, 16, 15... well im 38. and the 300 fits me just fine. Sure i could get a 400 or 450 (i have the $$$ to spare) But why. After my mods. I seen no reason to buy a 400 or 450. One thing i can tell you about the 300ex, i may get smoked out in the open fields, but this quad is nimble in the woods. I can sneak by things and take corners ect much faster,,my bigger quad friends cannot.. so i find myself waiting for them at this point,, in tight trail systems.

I've had people ask me. Why do you have such a little four-wheeler. I was like i don't know. Oh yea i'm 24 and have had my 300ex since I was 13. I still love it

Same here man. I have had mine since I was 16 and it still runs better than anything else I have ever had. I can let it sit for 4 or 5 months, hit the start button and it fires right up, provided the battery is not dead. I swear its one of the best atv's honda has ever made.

if ur going racing it then thats good. 300ex is a great quad. a 250x is good also for racing, no battery and alot of things that wont weigh it down.

I am 28 and ride a 250x...This is my first quad though.

Still, the little thing moves and has enough power for me to keep up with my buddies on 500 Scramblers.

<= 34 and I ride my old 1998 330ex still that I used to race in the now defunct Missouri Hare Scramble Championship Series way back when I used to heal a lot faster and the 400ex was just released.. lol. Now, I just play around on it. (Rear skid plate is off, replacing the bolts.)

Hey, I'm 57 and I ride a 2000 300ex. It has an HMF muffler, jetted and a K&N filter and it gets me up the dunes and up the trails. It seems to have enough power and still small enough to handle. With more power I'll want to go faster and when I fall it will hurt more so its fine by me. It looks good and fast enough for me.
