stock exhaust?

My 400 has the baffles drilled out of it, I was told its fine but is it really? Someone told me it would be fine for summer but not to ride it in the winter like that.

What you mean by baffle? are you talking about the spark arrestor or the metal baffle in the midle of the muffler?

both are missing, some one just hallowed out the stockpipe. I just want to make sure its not bad for the valves.
