I bought it not running with a bent valve for $2000! It has a fully built tc racing motor, jb a arms, elkas, lonestar rear 250r swing arm, lonestar rear axle, custom antivibe steering stem, fullbore plastics, almost a whole nother motor minus cases and piston, It even has a bolt on rear linkage mount. The bike was put together for # 88 mat bartosek SP?
Also what would you guys pay for a bolt on linkage mount for a 250r swingarm?
So anyways $500 later i had it running and i also bought a few goodies, like a asv lever for $20 shipped
What bumper should i go with, it had an AC racing one but i put it on my 300ex because it flows better with the plastics?
When i brought it home

I think you should cut the front plastics and throw a proarmour on there.

i am not worried about weight, plus the aluminum tank is goint to be cheaper than a plastic one

Awsome!!!!
Im trying to get mine to be ready to race mx,but i gotta do a lot of work over winter for my rebuild.
Do you know the classes and ****? Ive never raced so im new to it,but i can jump a quad and catch on easy so it will work out.
born2ride14
09-07-2009, 02:25 PM
Depending on your riding ability and age, you could be racing in the youth class but if you are like crazy fast you could be in the c class
Cmh156
09-07-2009, 02:30 PM
Than im guessing c class,because im 17.
Here i come an empty wallet once i get a job,and a bad *** quad.

well im sorry my 13 year old friend...the bolt on and not welded on... what about it running? or you ridin?
how is that production? with that rear end? or dont it matter with those quads?
born2ride14
09-07-2009, 07:19 PM
I wast being snotty
Yes i even though it is not a prodution swing arm i can still run it. as long as it has production case and production frame it can be ran in the nationals
woodsracer144
09-07-2009, 07:24 PM
ok i'm gona toss ya a good one!
then if you have a production mounts why dont people make mounting spots on the oem chassi to make them CR500 links, or a narrow frame and change the OEM shock mounts?
if i under the stood the rules right all chassis mounts had to be with in OEM places... meaning the 300ex didnt have link so i didnt think you would be able to run one...
m0t0xk1d
09-07-2009, 07:35 PM
you can pretty much do any mod you wont as long as it is BOLT ON. meaning anything is legal as long as nothin is welded. also NO hybrids
woodsracer144
09-07-2009, 07:41 PM
so you need stock cases... can the be bored or things altered on the oem cases? use yfzr cases and make a fi 2 stroke? this is what tehy did with the first 4 stroke pit bikes there was a guy that use a Cr 85 and make a 150 4 poke out it... it was crazy
