Case Saver, what does it look like?

Can anyone post a pic of what a case saver looks like? Or, tell me if a stock bike has one. I have a 98 300EX and don't know if I have one or not. I have seen them for dirtbikes, and so I am guessing that is what they look like for a quad. If that is the case, then I don't think I have one and I would feel better having one. My friend has his chain snap on his banshee and cracked the case. After seeing that, I don't want that to happen to me.

A 98 300EX does not have a case saver from the factory. Do an image search on google.com for case saver
