Alright currently im running a set of 450R shocks. I am wanting to know I have found 2 sets 1 older set 5 to 10 years old that were takin off a ridin 400ex they have rezzie's and are in working order, 1 set that is brand new without rezzies. My question is what set would you buy there is $100 difference between the 2 sets with the ones with the rezzie's being cheaper.

There both triple rate springs what set would be best or would I be better off having the 450R revalved and later on buying a set of triple rate springs?

the 450r shocks will be best where they are adjustable. get them revalved and thell be great and send them to gt thunder

Honestly for where I ride I have adjust and adjusted and I dont see a bit of difference lol. Only way I see a difference is messing with the rebound

maybe they need to be rebuilt. even so they are still better then non adj. rezzies or non rezzies. gt thunder resprings them for a great price

$395 for a respring with dual rate and revalve.

I think these works will work for me just fine. I dont race I very rarely jump just XC style riding we ride hard but nothing major.

years ago I bought set of non-adjustable works steelers w/rezzie's......would've been much easier to just set my money on fire.

get the stockers re-valved by GT or SF.

Well I already bought them so we will have to wait and see what goes down. If they work for me great if not ill relist them I know I can get what I paid for them out of it.

We will just have to see what goes on with them.

some of my fav shocks I ever rode on my old 250r were some of teh steelers with rezzies that I got revavled for me when I sent them in for service. they changed the 2 small springs too. They really managed to get them spot on. Only problem is that shocks + revaving is usualy about what a set of good shocks would set you back anyway.

I know its cheaper to have works revalve there shocks over OEM shocks lol

It was gonna cost me about 200 to have the others done and this way will prob end up the same if they have to be I think I should be happy with them as I dont like the adjustments and stuff I never mess with them anyway.

I really appreciate everyones help on here in the 400ex board not a one person replied.

Oh and these are off a 250R so it will lower my ride height a bit that I love as well.
