Hi everyone.
I bought a 05 ltz400 a few weeks ago. After a good ride in the mud it no longer wants to idle properly.
I've taken the carb apart, cleaned it, dropped to a 150mian jet form 155, checked float bowl height and it still won't idle.
I noticed that I get no reading between the pins on my TPS, no matter how I test them.
What exactly does the TPS to, can it effect idle?
I know on a FI car/ bike the tps is used to determine how much fuel and spark to add, but not sure what it is for on a carburated bike.
I have a full yosh exhaust with the K&N air filter and K&N air box filter cover (replaces the air box cover.
Thanks.
