well as soon as i sell my 400ex ill be upgrading to a honda 450r i cant seem to bring myself to jump the big red ship though thanx for everyones help on this section i learned alot. ill still check into this section alot but mostly be on the 450r section.

yeah ave had alot of fun on it in the 6 years ive had it but i want more power, i want something that revs faster and i just want something different

no just buying it lol maybe by next summer ill have a small loan for the wheeler i got a loan for my car and i will have a school loan so i have enough to pay for lol ill just be happy having a450 lol

You're buying it new? With all the new high-tech 450's out there that are crazy, you're spending money on a brand new honda that hasn't really been updated?

If I were you buying a new quad, I would broaden your view. There are SOO many nice 450's out these days that dealers are trying to push off their floors..

price tags make a huge difference.... a honda is at around 6000 and a can am, ktm, or any other 450 that has bean fully updated is around 8500. 2500 is a big difference when your talking about a college kid, im in your same boat, with truck payments and such and rent i cant afford another bill.... thats why im saving cash, when i hit 4000 ill sell my 400, and i will be buying the can am xc or the ktm xc. i like the mx version of each too but im more of and xc guy, although 50+ inches wide stock is nice. the xc is only 42 or something, my 400 is 52 inches with +3s and offset rims, and handles like a dream.

Don't know if they're still doing it, but KTM is having a promotion. $6500 for a brand spankin' new KTM and it comes free with a $2500 racer package which includes porting and all that.

$500 more? For a KTM AND a racer package? over a honda? hmmm. I know what I would choose.

I was at my dealer and they have brand new left-over 2008 kfx450's for $5999 otd.

oh well im buying a used 450 and i want a honda cuz i dont want all the fancy efi and stuff i love the hondas i love the feel of them i and the looks i just love the honda
