Thinking about a cheap bike...

I'm considering getting my first bike and have about $1000 to spend, so nothing fancy... early to mid 90's two stroke, probably.

I have VERY little experience on a bike and don't need a lot of power for the trails I ride, but I'm a bigger guy(read fat). Is a 125 two smokers suspension gonna hold up to a guy in the neighborhood of 220 lbs?

Would I be dissapointed with an '86 XR200? I found one I could probably get for about $500 or so.

pick up a old basnhee blaster or warrior like aaaan 89' or somthin

First BIKE, not quad. I'm selling my quad and looking for something cheap to scoot around on.

ahhhhhhhhhhh alot of people refer to there quads as bikes also,but if ur sellin ur 400 to get a bike get like cr250 or rm250 or yz250

Get a 250. You'd have to ride a 125 so damn hard to get anything out of it. And being as big as you are its not going to be a fun bike.

nah, i think a 250 oil burner would be ok
search craigslist and find one for a good deal, its the time to buy right now, when times get tough, toys are almost always the first thing to go
