Whats up guys, Im new here and trying to decide which exhaust to get for my quad. It has a DG on it right now, but I cant stand the way it sounds. Its too high pitched. I want something deeper sounding. So if you have any suggestions or can throw up a sound clip, that would be great.

I have a WB e-series no discs. it's pretty loud but i have plenty of top end power.

oh and this was right after i broke the motor in so it's running rich, so just ignore the black smoke.

Yeah my buddy has an HMF on his Raptor 700 and that thing just sounds mean. But that things a different animal compared to the 400EX.

Got any clips of yours??

I like the exhaust that Pappy's (I think thats his name) kid has on his quad. Anyone know which pipe that is??

HMF is louder than white bro's but I think you would like the White better is not overly loud and holds its tone, as were the HMF is only loud when you hit the gas. I do like the deep bass'y tone it gives though. But I like my White bro's alows me to play with performance and sounds really good.

There is a thread somewhere on here that has like a ton of sounds clips of almost every exhaust on the 400. I'll try and find it for ya bud.

Now I don't know what the hell I want.

Im torn between the Curtis Sparks, TC Shorty, and the LRD. The LRD is nice and deep, The TC Shorty is just straight up loud, and the Sparks is a little of both :ermm:

If anyone has suggestions on those 3, lets hear em. In the meantime Im going to check out prices...haha

That thread should definitely be stickyed though. VERY helpful....or aggravating depending on which way you look at it..lol

Anyone know the DB levels on the sparks??

LRD is 99db's.

I believe the sparks is 104 db's topped out. Topped out is its loudest point so. It's pretty loud. The first couple times you ride it the Sparks is very deep but once the packing starts settin in it starts to sound more like a ripper. It sounds amazing either way. There is also two quiet cores for it. Quiet and super quiet. I forgot how much they lower the db's but I know its a good bit. Check the sparks site if you wanna know fersure.

I also love the TC shorty. That is the only other pipe I would use.
