I was at a fair race last night and had a nasty crash. I went over the finish line double and it was about a 70ft catapult jump and just barley clipped the peak of the landing. I went over the bars and idk what happened from there. After I left the hospital I was looking at my gear and the carbon fiber peice that goes down your back was snapped in half. My head bent so far back that it transfered that that impact to the back of the leatt and it did its job. I could have easily had a neck or spinal injury without it and i'm very thankful that I wasn't hurt very bad. Where my leatt dug into my back is really sore but I guess thats better than a broken neck. I just though I would share my experience and everyone should wear one of these.
