I picked up this Walsh 250R as a rolling chassis a short while ago and I'm just around to rebuilding it. I finished my duner 250R and then rebuilt my Roll Design 250R for this mx season so the Walsh is next. With racing all over the state and working full time I don't have much time so mess around with other projects so I'm glad I finally got around to working on this quad. I'm really excited to see how this one will turn out. This won't be an overnight rebuild but I thought you guys might want to check out the progress. I started disassembling some of the quad tonight and snapped a couple pics.

was that walsh converted at some time for using a yz/crf dirtbike motor? The section cut out of the swingarm looks alot like my crf hybrid swingarm.

Yes, this Walsh was converted by Herrmann Racing to use a Blaster engine to run the 200cc air-cooled class. I'll be converting it back to use the 250R engine.

A Blaster engine? Oh my gosh what a waste.

Why not just sleeve the 250R engine down.... sheesh.
