raptor 700 i need help

I have a new raptor 700 09 and i thing has rev limiter beacuse in full has 6000 rpm and i am sour this bike has 9000 rpm if someone know something to help me!

do u mean its hitting the rev limiter at 6000? and yes ur right they are suppost to rev to 9000. Do u have a pipe or anything cuz if you do maybe it would be cutting out if you didnt have a programmer, if not check your cdi box or if its still under warranty get a new one, the cdi would be my first guess

YES the raptor 700 has a speed limiter. in 5th gear it decreases the timing. You can unplug the transmission sensor and it will be taken off. But there will be an error code on the display. There is a wire you can cut that goes to the efi controller i think it is the baby blue wire you can cut that and it will remove it without displaying an error code.
