you have race numbers on it...it's been raced...drops the value a lot...you'd def. get more from putting it back to stock and parting it out...if i were making an offer, i would not go above $3500

Sweet looking quad. Like speedyquad said
"you have race numbers on it...it's been raced...drops the value a lot" . I have sold a couple of these for my customers and the racing numbers really made customers look the other way. But if they did look at it they would say "its raced, the aftermarket parts are well used, and the motor is probably about to blow" Then they try to offer 1200$-2000$ less then what I had it listed for. 2 out of the 4 race quads I sold were made back to stock and the customer parted the aftermarket parts out. Whats hurting your quad is its an 04, the first year they made them, but still alot of the 450r riders prefer the 04-05's over the 06-09's. I would give you the benifet of getting 4500$ if the motor was completely fresh and the shocks have just been serviced. Its tough times these days and everyone wants something for nothing. Good luck and you have a really sick quad!!

I would give you approximately 4500 - 5000 if everything is in good condition. Your machine looks well used but still in good cond. Anything wrong drops value greatly. That savior rear end is one of the best available for our machines and part of the reason im going so higher for this machine.

yeah the rims make it look well used they are off my old hybrid so there beat. but it was only trail ridden before i got it and the plastics are faded and scuffed so they're beat but everything on the quad is tight. ive only raced it 2 times. the quad is not beat at all the plastics just look like crap.. can you guys tell me what you think is "well used or beat "

thanks

Well for my quad that i bought used, the kid before me decided to spray paint the whole frame black and its chipped every where and it drives me nuts. Looks like the frame was dragged down the road a couple miles behind a truck.LOL . But if the person doesnt clean up the motor after the each ride grime starts to build up. wHEN THE RIDER KEEPS RIDING WHEN BEARINGS OR BUSHINGS NEED REPLACED. Or when the engine is neglected of routine maintenance. Thats what I call beat. Ya not everyone can afford new rims just because they get chipped up and scratched but some people still look at that as beat cuz you ride it in rough sections. And not everyone races motocross where the plastic stays fairly good but everone has their own opinion. Still nice quad in my mind.

I can't say I would pay less for a quad if it was raced. I know alot of people who race that are way more meticulus in taking care of their quads. Its a matter of opinion of course but the way I look at it is, I would rather own a quad from someone that raced it, and maintains it like I would, than from a weekend warrior who has limited knowledge about quads and only changes the oil once a season. Of course there will be guys who beat the heck out of their quads every race and dont give a damn also. Thats why I would say mid 4's, if everything is in good condition, and like what was said before, anything that is wrong drops the value. Just my .02.

it may be better maintained, but the abuse it gets during the race is way more than the average joe will put on or wants to deal with.

i, myself, have no issue with buying something that was previously raced, but i also know that the machine was put through way more than what my neighbor would have.

consider it like this...a 2004 450r that was not raced is like a car with 25000 miles while a 2004 450r that was raced is like the same car, but with 125,000 miles. it does not matter how well the raced atv is maintained, it will need repair sooner due to harder and more use...
