ok guys,ive had my 250x for a few months now,and its been quite a bugger to get it started sometimes.
things ive checked:
Valve adjustment(.004 like it says in the book)
Decompression Cable Adjustment
New Coil,Plug Cap,Spark Plug
things i havent checked(not sure how to check)
Stator
Pickup coil by stator
CDI Box
Voltage Regulator
whats happening is,most of the time,it will fire right up,and you can ride it all day,then when you let it sit for a few hours,its very hard to start,i can usually catch it in gear,and it will fire up after a bit of coasting,but it wont rev out all the way,it acts as if its flooded,when you floor it,it starts sputtering,backfiring,etc,and it will eventually clear up.
im getting kinda desperate for some help on this,so if anyone can help me out,id greatly appreciate it.
