the stem bearing is the same as the stock trx chassis... the swinger is the stock ones as well... the question is... is it a 86 87 or a 88 /89?

i think you can run a CRF link as well the way the mount is in the back of the chassis ( between the foot peg mounts know where im talkin about) and the mount for the swing arm as really close to the front as well..

That's a Frontline Performance Chassis. They were based out of Youngstown, Ohio. The frame is basically a laeger copy. If you have any older issues of ATVsport they had an ad in the back with a picture and you will the front frame rail has FLP engraved in it.

the 250r swingarm bearing are the same, along with the cap and dust seals. The difference between 85-87 and 88/89 is the number of dust seals, end caps and the center collar(s) that ride in the swingarm. No, in 85-87 swingarm didn't ride inside the motor, the rear motor mount went between the 2 swingarm sides.

I don't think so. I used to race with the guys who owned FLP around here and I remember when they first brought the frame to the track.

the only reason i said it was a prp is because of all the prp stickers on the frame swingarm and stem

frontline perfr
08-29-2009, 07:00 PM

08-31-2009, 07:17 AM

does front line make a steering stem and swing arm????
if not i wonder if stickers came with them and were just stuck to frame

what you have to do is set the chassis on about a 1 in block(a 2/4 is fine) your tryin to make is sit like you are bottoming out and then you have to put the chassis at about a 10 inch block i think.. you want to make it so there would be no pressure on the tires and then take that measurement eye to eye and then tell us or me what that is and i can get it to you...

do you still have the rear shock in there? that came on it... how long is it?

step869
08-31-2009, 02:35 PM
i kinda lost what ya were talking about on the block deal

the guy i sold it to parted out my rear shock and front shocks
when i got it back it had a preditor fox shock on it

no lie i could pick the rear of the quad up over my head and the tires still touching the ground it was in a L shape

I remember this quad being for sale a few years ago and the ad said it was a frontline frame and prp went through it nd did a few things to it, hence why it had prp stickers. Hope this helps you guys.

Thanks,
Mike

ok i'll give it another shot but if you dont under stand it this time let me know and i'll PM you my number and that way i can just explain it to you

the 2x4 bock would make it like it would be bottomed out and then with no weight on the shocks like when you jump it... that would be on a 12 inch block... have all the shocks un bolted when you do this with tires on it.. let me know if this helps you...

step869
08-31-2009, 06:39 PM
ok im still a lil lost
but the quad is still at a bare frame to it will be closer to the end of winter be its ready to do this........
