best tires fir GNCC racing?

What are the tires everyone is racing in GNCC? Just put a hole in the sidewall of a brand new holeshot GNCC(first race on the tires). So i am wondering if there is a better choice or did I just get real unlucky. And where is the best place to buy in Indiana.

i think u got unlucky b/c i got does on my raptor and i haven't had a prob wit them since i got them. i don't race b/c i'm under 16 but when i m 16 i will be racing xc hopefully and they would be my tire of choice.

GNCC's are about your best bet. you just got unlucky. every tire can get a flat if its the right way.

If your a Maxxis fan, razrs in the back razr2 up front. ITP, GNCC tires are good. GBC fan, the X-rex tires are good. Check out WKC powersports or you can always buy off the net.

20" Razr 6 ply in the rear. 21" Razr II's up front. If you want a beefier rear tire go with the Razr II rear.

GBC X Rex tires.....nearly identical to the Razr2 at about half the price!

Alot will depnd though on the quad youll be racing and your riding style

what i dont understand about tires is how GBC doesn't get sued by Maxxis. i see absolutely no difference between their tires.

I think they have the same tread. I think GBC uses a different rubber compound and sidewall.

hell yeah! that and I've had great luck with the hole shot gncc's they are soft and wear kinda fast ( maybe a season ) They hook hard!!

I like razr two rears that are grooved, single groove across the thread to make them almost like an holeshot, they hook like a mofo! :macho

if you set the x-rexes and razr2's side by side there is a very slight difference in their block design, and the x-rexes have i think 1 less row of tread on the front comparing both 22 inch tires. probably just a small enough difference not to get sued

get them irazrs they seem like they would be awsome for gncc and xc

I have seen just about every kind of tire get slashed and punctured.

I am running maxxis razr 2 in the front and itp HD holeshot rears.
