chain wearing on swingarm

hey guys ive had a problem with my chain eating into my swingarm. It seems to be coming off of the bottom of the front sprocket and slapping up into the swingarm thus wearing it away... It wore right through the rubber guard that was on there so now i have a hard plastic guard on there from moose but its wearing that as well.
I have tried loosening and tightening the chain but neither seemed to help.
Anyone experienced this and have any ideas how to fix this? thanks

yes i have had that same problem.... just keep an eye on it and replace the chain slider when it starts to wear through..... besides you can pick up brand new take off swingarms for under 100 bucks on here in the parts for sale or on ebay....

x2. mine did the same thing, fortunantley i caught it when it first wore through the chain slider. but definetely keep your eye on it and change it when it looks wore out..

That's odd. I've never had a chain guide to even show the first bit of wear, much less all the way through to the swinger. I run my chain alot tighter than most people.

my 05, my 06, my 07, my other 07 all wore thru the stock chain sliders....under six months....
