Side Case to WP shaft clearance

i have the bottom end apart in my honda 450R and noticed the hole in the case where the water pump shaft comes through has wear marks in it how much wear can it take before leaking coolant into the tranny? thanks Beaudacious

isnt that where the mechanical ceramic bearing/seal is????

you should just be able to knock out that bearing seal assembly and press in a new one... its a pita tho..
