gas shut off

i was wondering if my ltz has a gas shut off? and what dose PRI next to the RES mean?

pri = prime, there is no off . the petcock is a vacuum activated if the engine is off so is the gas, pri just by passes all that and gets gas to the carb without the engine running

i need to change the needle how can i do that with out shuting off the gas?

sorry i guess you dont under stand. for now just pull off the gas line and stick some thing in the end of the hose to keep gas from running out.

Just drain the fuel bowl with it in RES. or RUN. Then your gonna be able to do what you want.
