riding and racing

I did some riding with dallas(Honda#4) yesterday at his house. We did some racing too. I came out on top on my beast, but he definitely has a nice susp. with the roll design stuff and axis shocks. Really it is no comparison to the stock stuff on mine. We did however prove that there is not that big of a difference comparing a 10:1 and 11:1 416 since i had 10 and he had 11 with the same mods, he has a 14, and i have a 15. We were dead even until 5th for me compared to his 5th which is much lower then i pulled on him. Overall very nice machine for dal and it was a great day of riding. I figured i would let you guys know what the outcome of the ride was anywhoo. LOL, steve

Next time I think i'm gonna get a 15t and see how different our cams are cuz in my opinion the stg 2 does have alot of top end rev to it and when I rode Steves it seems like everything is bottom end to mid so I think it would be pretty interesting to see which cam comes out on top.

Better plan the next trip Steve LOL!

Wish I had better rear tires though that might have changed my take off gear.

yeh we will have to go again sometime. gotta get some rear tires just for looks alone if anything. lol. the stockers suck anyway when they are as bald as yours are. lol. steve

His jetting is about hte same as mine with a 170 mian and the stock pilot. I think his needle is in a different position though. lol, steve

I have mine jetted but forgot to update it I guess. Yea I need tires hopefully the job my wife got yesterday will do the trick.

Maybe steve just has a better motor, all motors differ on performance even stock motors none run exactly the same lol.

agreed, it is very possible to have a different port and polish and such to make a difference. steve

Which is why I probably can't get my jetting set, we always figured that theres a difference in my port work. I still think i'll be looking for a 450 carb yet just to see.

Ticks me off that I gave my stock 15t sprocket to my buddy otherwise I think things would be different. There's always again though.

just get one and put it on there. ill race again sometime and see what happens. you may be faster than me or not it really depends on the day and what surface too. the 15 will make it rev slower though too so you have to be careful. it will probably be faster on top with that cam though. we shall see one day. Get a pirmary drive front there like $8 that is what I use primary drive 15T

If you cant buy a jet that will work for your carb see if there is a place that has the bit set and maybe they can drill you a jet that is inbetween sizes and that would get it spot on, what I had to do.

Yep I probably would buy a primary drive sense thats what I run,my problem basically is the fine tuning portion not so much the jets themselves. I've talked about getting it dyno'd so its right but I sent all my quarter money.

you could get it dynoed and get it tested and the temp can change 20 degrees and it will be all messed up again. i am telling you, you should just get it close and leave it instead of messing with it all the time. lol. steve
