My GF's cousin has an 05 450r it has less than 15 hours on and he hasnt ridden it very hard, it has nerf bars and handlebars. everything else is stock its red. its showroom condition yet. it runs really good i rode it once. i think he is going to want between 4000 and 4500.

i no a month ago i could pick up a new 08 outta the box for 4999 but i like the 05's i just wanna no if u would pay that much for it or what do u think its worth.

Yeah I would say no. My bro got his 4th 450R and my buddy got his 2nd last month. Neither bike had 10 hours on it, in fact, the one my bro got was completely stock, and the hour meter read 2.5 hours, so yeah and he got it for $2300, and my buddy got his from a soldier in the ARMY so it was rode 2 times around like 6 hours for $2500. His had a pipe, nerfs, filter, and bars on it. So def. better deals to be had. You can pick up full blown race bikes right now for right around $4500-$5000

got my 05 450r almost sound like in the exact condition as that one for 3500. i would at least try to get him in the threes

i got my 06 a couplw months back for 2900. it was mint and pretty much all stock

i would say low 3's. especially as stock as it is. not sure what your plans are with it but as stated up above, you could buy a nice mx ready 450r for 4,000-4,500... i paid 3,700 for my04 a year ago and it had a full dasa system,stage 2 hotcam,ims/roll nerfs hypers, and a few other things...

i got my 04 last year with houser plus 2 aarms lsr axle itp bajas all around with mx tires, quad tech hood, ac pro pegs, procirtuit ti ful system, burguard carrier, durablue anti fade, hand guards, renthal bars, pro design intake and kill switch, prm bumper and skids. plust it was completely powder coated for 3800
