need help with jet kit

hey i just got a UNI and a dynojet kit for my lady's z400 and i just wanna know if theres anything i should know befor i install it. theres a few more wires goin to the carb on this one than there are on my 400ex. is there anything i have to do if i take the throttle sensor off or whats the easiest way to do this?
also what do they mean drill out the plug by the pilot screw? i also have a corse thread self tapping screw in the kit what exactly is that for?

there may be a soft plug that covers the screw , it has to be removed to get to the screw.
