Whats the easiest way to get the ball joint seperated from the spindle, I'm taking my a-arms off to repaint them.

Pickel fork but 9 times outta 10 your gonna ruin the boots for em with a pickel fork.

The bottoms can come off pretty easy but the tops i have taken a hammer and placed it in the pocket of the spindle and hit that hammer with a bigger hammer to break them loose. this worked good for me when i had to do some bearings in the front of a foreman. good luck, steve
