i have heard there is a way to remove the parking break on a stock calliber (and big box at lever) on the 99-04. I tryed today and didnt have much luck. i have a holder for the lever that fits but when i got the cable through and everything it wouldnt pull the clutch in all the way to shift smooth. Let me know if you know the problem or if it cant be done. (then ill just buy and ASV)

just take the BRAKE cable off as well as the parking BRAKE mechanism also. that is the minimal that you need to do. if you want to buy a fancy perch, then go ahead. not sure why you even had to take your clutch cable out at all, unless you put on a new perch already. in that case, you will need to re-adjust your clutch lever play.

oh, by the way, your CALIPER is actually on the disk, not at the lever.
