400ex stem conversion help

can anyone help me out on converting a 400ex aftermarket stem to a 250r, I have a real nice stem wont be able to get what i paid for out of it so I want to mod it to fit. I just want a little intruction on someone that has done it or knows how to. My general questions are, what to use for spacers and how to go about making the length fit, how much to grind down the stops just a little help. I know its not really a popular thing but I know some of you ahve done it. Any help would be well appreciated

What kind of stem do you have? With what size clamps and what length?

Its a +1 stem and 1/8 leagers clamp its really nice almost brand new

forgot to mention its also a antivibe, I dunno what the actual stem is it came from ct racing. it took me forever to figure out what it was made for buts its nice
