Hey guys... I started this thread on WWW.TRX250R.NET, and wanted to post my results here also. Here is the original thread:

Here are the final results:
Okay, here it is, the finished product! Lots of changes, I will try to list them all:
-Had mounting bracket made out of billet aluminum at machine shop.
-Ordered some mini-heim joints for a Cannondale steering stabilizer
-Had stainless steel tie rod made at machine shop.
-Ordered 10 Keinserts from Fastenal (M10x1 OD - M6 ID)
-Ordered M6 stainless hardware to mount everything
-Had stainless spacers made for heim joint clearance (1/8" thick - M6 ID)
-Clearanced all holes in stabilizer for metric hardware (this is a Honda after all)
-Used Red Loc-Tite on all hardware
The stabilizer works great. It has settings 1-8, and with the front of the quad on a jack and the stabilizer on level 8 we (my wife and I) can barely turn the handlebars. On level 1 it feels as if the stabilizer is not even there. I think level 3-4 should do it for us in the sand.
Stabilizer and steering stem clamp - $100 shipped
Billet aluminum mounting bracket, stainless tie rod, stainless spacers, heim joints - ~$100
Overall cost - ~$200
I have the drawing for the mounting bracket, but it is for a Laeger Narrow frame.
Enjoy, James
