i see what your saying but i'm not sure its a bad thing, may give more access to make it easier to work on some things without removing some of the plastics and it may assist in working on the motor while its still in the frame.

I like the new Yammys but i think i liked the white 09s a little more than the 10's. They may grow on me though. Im glad to see honda made the choice of totally updating the 250F this year. Wonder if they will finally make some major changes to the 2011 450R since there is no 2010

x2, I likes the duals alot.. for looks, however. Its cool they put the stabilizer on the 250 now, too! Either than that.. they did nothing really.. :(

Smittank, look at my sig and click the link for my ad, it has all the info in there!

Yea, I am! I forgot to read the stats.. hah my bad! Then that is pretty impressive, esspecailly for Honda (who had basically the same mahcine (400ex) for 10 years!). They better do something awesome to their quads now! I mean how hard would it be to take the EFI off the CRF450 and put it on the TRX450?? + did Honda put a new frame on the 250? I don't think.. (I very possibly be wrong, however!) && 226lbs is not bad at all for a thumper! Thats about how much the smokers are! It's amazing all the info you get when you take time and remember to read the stats! haha :p

GO HONDA!

I think that the yamahas have messed up by looking so much like the huskys, and the honda's are trying there best to get the KTM side pannels going on. Yamaha And Honda have the uglyest bikes out for 2010 IMO. And i don't know about putting the fuel injection on it, id say nothing but trouble out of it for a while, just like the 09 CRF 450R.

Brauap
07-22-2009, 03:03 PM
I agree, Honda probally jumped the gun opn the EFI, I think that they should have perfected it before passing it on to the other bikes.. I bet, as stated before, their will be problems left and right with the new bikes.. but that is just my prediction...

What are the known problems on the 09 CRF? just asking cause i have a buddy that has had one for about 3 months that i might want to warn? And i dont think the EFI is a bad idea. These companys have got EFI worked out. They have had it on their crotch rockets for years. Just because its on a different bike dont mean its different. Look at car companys. Just because the new camaros came out fuel injected that dont mean the fuel system had to be proved out because its a new car. the method of fuel injection has been the same since the 80s. just an opinion

If your talking to me about the vehicles (however you spell it) I have 2 trucks 1998 F-150 and a 1979 F-150 one EFI and One Carb, i personally like the carbs better, but its differnt stokes for differnt folks.

And the problems with the CRF 450 09's, get on thumper talk, the last time i was on there just about everone on there was having problems with theres. i can't be specifiac about it, but i know there was problems
