Blown 400ex starter?

I have an 05 400ex which i start up once a week and this last time i warmed it up it seems that the starter got stuck. i would try to shut it off by moving the cycle button to the off position but nothing would should it off. but the starter was still going, i could hear the whining noise when the revs would get really low.some how i was able to turn it off by putting it against the wall and leaving it in gear till it shut itself off. now it wont even start.

i know the battery is good cuz it was tested, but i think i fried something cause the lights dont even power on. how can i try to fix this?

Sounds like the starter relay went and now you might have cooked the starter motor too. Disconnect the battery and do a voltage check 13~14 volts is a good battery. If that checks get an ohmmeter and check the starter relay
