Rear lower shock bearing

I was reading one of these fine threads and someone mentioned theirs had failed.

Last night, I was bolting on my PEP shock and figured, WTH, might as well take a look at it. I'm glad I did. It was seized up with dirt/rust and had zero grease in it. I was able to clean it out good and repack it. I'm going to go ahead and order one though.

If you haven't looked at this, make sure you do.
I'm going to make that a routine item to check.

thats how my stock 08 shock bent because it was rusted solid.

Its an important thing to make sure you keep up on, and greasing your other rear end parts makes for a long lasting quad.
