what sprockets to run?

i have a 2006 kfx 400 with full big gun exhuast and i belive some motor work cause it romps on my buddies z's but they just have slip ons but dont think just a header pipe will make me beat them that bad! but anyways i have stock tires for now but would like to try some different sprocets but not sure what to do i do lots of open riding lik sand pits and such but also do trails quite a bit and seems like im always in between 2nd and 3rd gear maybe some u guys could help a brother out?

i dont get it ,......... your putting the hurt to your buddies and running in 2nd and 3rd gear, whats wrong with that ?

lol, not all bikes are equal,even stock ! Im a trail racer,so I run a 13/39 combo.

13/40 . It'll keep you from having to down shift to 2nd so often and with that combo 3rd pulls really well.

i tired 13 40 once, we were do some sand drags , i was hoping
it would help with a 2nd gear start. it did but i was getting beet
by an outlaw so i switched back to 14 40 then i was beeting him.
