250r pv from a cr

hey guys i was going to get a pv jug i was goign to get a cr 250 pv is it worth getting ornot.. plus whats with the ignition problem i see everone taking the cdi box off of the cr a putting on here rs did they have bad elec boxes

I've read a little bit about this subject, and there are people who do run CR250 jugs, but it is more for the updated/modern port layout and the nikasil cylinder lining. The powervalve can't be used and needs to be blocked off on the CR250 jug due to it being a mechanical system versus a rotax or esr style.
