Cant get dirt stains off motor...

Used about everything I can think of, Gunk Gel, simple grean, etc. with toothbrush. I still cant get it super clean. Anybody have any better ideas?

Try the wheel cleaner/acid they sell at truck stops. Its a mild acid and will etch the aluminum.

good old fashioned brake clean or pb blaster could work,

and afterwards polish the aluminum parts with eagle one nvr-dull

autozone, etc carry this?

mothers wheel cleaner(yellow bottle) has worked better for me than the eagle one...but not much

most wheel cleaners will work with a toothbrush. but do not leave it on to long you will get white spots.... this stuff works wonders tho just takes some time and elbow grease!

I use Dull Buster on Aluminum from Napa,it makes old mud stained engines look new and it works fast.I've cleaned quite a few atv's from our club using it and made a few $$ in the process but it needs to be raw unpainted aluminum

Muriatic acid works well too. It's sold at local pool stores and like Lowe's, Home depot. I used it on my quad to remove the red Georgia clay stains.

ya since it aluminum try some of the acid that you can get from truck stops, we use it at work on the aluminum rims on the trucks and it works wonders

^^^ X2 Thats what I use to clean all the aluminum on mine and it makes it look great.
