for the bore it depends on what type of riding you do mx or whatever.

and i cut my own fenders. started with a jigsaw then used a little sander to get them nice and smooth

i like my 416

invest in some boots, trust me from experience:devil

you do not look to big so i would say you should be happy with the 416, its a pretty big improvement over stock

How much money do you have to spend? You could go with a 416 kit for a couple of hundred $$. That or you could spend over 3 grand on a TC 505.
What mods have you done and what do you want to do with it. If it is going to be a all out racer go with a 416 or 426 and a high compression piston. If you are just going to put around the trails and want some good low end torque then personally I like the 440.
Just remember a straight bore job will not get peak performance. A cam and some head work will greatly help out. Along with a pipe, filter, and a bigger carb.
There are many posts on this subject, go do a search and I am sure you will find what you are looking for. ;)

Regardless if you are 15 or 25, you're not a "big" guy. So unless you are only looking to beat your friends in a drag race, I'd go with suspension. It will make you a better rider, and a much better jumper.

You can't make your self a better ride just with mods but you can make yourself faster with mods. Suspension deff makes you faster on a track or anywhere. But you my not get any better.

Get Shocks first.

Yeah, I didn't phrase that very well. It won't make you a better rider, but it WILL make it easier to handle and go faster on the track, which should allow you to PROGRESS faster in your riding ability?

Having a larger motor is nice but you can only go so fast over whoops, braking bumps, etc. Suspension will play a much bigger part in you winning races than your motor. I'm usually in the top 5 out of the gate at my races and I'm at the stock bore, heck I don't even have a new cam yet.

im sort of hoping i can get a new quad sometime soon, either a new honda with reverse if they ever make one or a raptor. Im 6'2" and 200lbs. The 300ex is still doing it for me tho. Its not like i race or anything, just a trail rider. Any one have a cheap raptor for sale?
